Welcome to the Team Angie Bednarski! At Roydan, we consider ourselves a team. Each team member plays an integral part in serving our valued customers’ needs. When we add to our “roster”, we look for individuals who comprise a special mix of team player and customer focus. We hit the jackpot for both our team and our customers when we added Support Specialist Angie Bednarski!
A Sheboygan, Wisconsin native, Angie recently returned to the area after making her home in Alabama for several years. While in Alabama, she was a Software Support and Training Specialist for Harris Computer Systems, which developed accounting solutions for school districts. In this role, she provided phone support and in-person training for system users and did a lot of traveling around Alabama.
One of the best parts of her position at Harris was the ability to work one-on-one with the end-users. “I really enjoyed helping our customers get the most out of their software. I was often called on to train school staff on the intricacies of the program. In addition, I was the go-between for the customer and our developers, helping troubleshoot inconsistencies, and provide input for fixes and add-ons that would be beneficial for the customer. I really enjoyed bringing the technical nature of software to the understanding level of a ‘typical user.’”
In her role as a Support Specialist with the Roydan team, Angie is looking forward to helping customers utilize our software solutions to be more effective in their daily work. “I know I will enjoy the training part of my job. I love to help the customer find ways to simplify their job. I think the Bloodhound software solution is fantastic at doing this. So I am looking forward to teaching the customer new ways to be even more profitable,” she notes.
Angie and her husband are thrilled to have regular access to their beloved Packers, now that they are back to their Wisconsin roots. She is also happy to spend more time with her family, including her nieces and nephews. “I am so glad I get to see them more often and be a part of their lives,” she notes.
Besides spending time with family, one of Angie’s passions is working on genealogy. She has been able to trace her family back to her great-great-great-grandparents. In her study, she has learned that somewhere on her dad’s side, she is related to Queen Elizabeth. Additionally, her great-great-great-grandfather was a master potter to the King of Prussia.
We are thrilled that Angie’s “roots” brought her to Roydan. Please join us in welcoming her aboard!
